After a well needed holiday, I've made the tough decision to close down commissions until early next year. I'll be honouring the commissions that have already been discussed with clients, but I won't be taking on any new ones for a few months. I need to recharge my creative batteries and want to explore some different things. Even though I enjoy the collaborative process of commissions, with working full time, I have very little time for my own art, and really want to do some projects that I've had on hold for nearly 12 months.

I'll be doing a website update in time for November (with details of when I'll be taking on new commissions).

Hi all

Just a really quick update to let people know I'm still alive. I've been sick with bronchitis and have had family up to visit so I've been a little slack with answering emails (Actually, I've spent very little time on the computer - the computer room is cold, and temperature changes cause me to cough and cough and cough). I'm much better now, thanks to two rounds of antibiotics and a number of days curled up in bed. I also look like I'm rugged up for Antarctica every time I leave the house.

I've also been having some Internet connection issues this weekend (when I planned to get back on top of this all - isn't it always the way?)

Current Art task list is as follows
- Send Selina disk (disk burnt, waiting to be mailed)
- Finish Digital commission (need to update client)
- Start watercolour phase of portrait commission (updated client)
- Answer commission enquiries (Done)
- Answer licensing emails (2 down, one to go)
- Paint - I have nothing for July except a speed paint :(

Work's also been in a state of upheaval! I expect that I'll be rotating teams after go-live of my project at the end of July. Then again who knows, I may get to stay with my team and have my services lent out for a couple of weeks....
