Nicole Cadet Fantasy Art

I did a new 'Cats know best' painting :) It's one of a few sketches I've had lying around, and since I had today off I decided to spend a few hours on this, before I move onto some commission work. This was based on a small sketch my Great Grandmother did of me when I was a little girl (sans the cat). I had a purple bandanna and overalls and I loved being outside in the garden. Now I'm relegated to pots as the drought has put us into a ban on watering outside (grey water is ok)

Well I should start thinking about tomorrow's Renaissance fencing festival :) I have a kind of dodgy medieval garb, pants and a tunic, and probably my colarado shoes because I have nothing else! I was too slack to make anything so I have to beg borrow and steak :) I'll probably think about changing into my chemise for the evening and putting the tunic over the top of that.
